taken 11 years ago, near to Tattershall, Lincolnshire, England

The Guardhouse at Tattershall Castle
The Guardhouse at Tattershall Castle
The middle ward of the castle would have several buildings in Lord Cromwell's time. The only one to survive is the 15th century Guardhouse and today it houses a National Trust shop and exhibition area. A dried-up section of the outer moat in the foreground.
