Although urban explorers have been here, this was an official visit to gather information to pass onto parties that may be able to help preserve some of the machinery on board the last known LST (3). Built in Canada in 1945, Stalker has two 2750 horsepower four cylinder inverted vertical triple expansion engines that are about 22' long and 14' high. This is the port engine room and this shows the steam powered air pump with a single steam cylinder at the top coupled to the pump below.

Sadly, there were no takers for the machinery and it is believed to have all been scrapped.
