Copper Beech by Myton Road, Warwick

This magnificent mature specimen of a purple Fagus sylvatica variety probably dates from around the same time as the house nearby called Myton Gables. The rich purple contrasts strongly with the fresh green of new growth in the cherry laurel hedge below it.
