One of the jagged holes in the fibreglass shell with a ramp leading up to this entrance. A few visitors are casually leaning on the railing, looking into the cafe area with tables and chairs.
Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2014

Each summer the Serpentine Gallery commissions an architect with no previous work in the UK to design a tea pavilion. In 2014 the architect is the Chilean Smiljan Radić. The pavilion is a thin doughnut of translucent fibreglass supported on massive rocks. Inside is a cafe counter, tables and chairs. Earth ramps provide entry to the pavilion, through jagged apertures in the shell.
[edit March 2023] This pavilion has been installed at the Hauser & Wirth art gallery in Bruton, Somerset, according to a comment in The Times.
