A1151 Wroxham Road near The Green Man
The A1151 is a 12-mile stretch of road that runs from Norwich to a junction with the A149 near Smallburgh It is the main tourist route to Wroxham and the northern section of the Norfolk Broads.
The route starts at a roundabout where it meets the A147 (St Crispins dual carriageway) on the northern part of the Norwich inner ring road. The A1151 has various street names within the city suburbs, starting with Charlton Road, then Bull Close Road and Magdalen Road, before becoming Sprowston Road and continuing in a northeasterly direction towards Wroxham, Hoverton and Smallburgh.
The road was originally the B1151. It was upgraded to an A road by 1939, probably in the 1935 road numbering revision Link
