Zion Passage
Zion Passage
The name plate for Zion Passage off Madoc Street is the last reminder of the Zion chapel erected in 1862 as a place of worship for English Baptists. It was demolished in 1967 to make way for six shops including a branch of Boots the Chemist. It was a brutalist concrete construction and was replaced in 1992 by the Victoria Centre.
