Quite a gash, unexpected and potentially nasty if descending in the dark. I'm not sure if this an eroded feature but that explanation doesn't seem feasible at this altitude. The bedrock according to the geology map is metamorphic and of the Morar Schists Formation.

I see Richard Webb has put a photo of a similar feature into the next grid square (NG8001 : Landslip fissures) which he explains as a landslip. (It could well be the same feature but I was confident of my location at the time).
