taken 12 years ago, near to Gee Cross, Tameside, England

Old railway banking
Old railway banking
The cutting back of the growth on the banking of the former Godley Junction to Apethorn Railway and the trimming of the lower branches of some of the trees has exposed to view an old railway telegraph post.

The route is now part of the Trans Pennine Trail and the National Cycle Network Route 62.
