TR3341 : Ferry Manoeuvres at Dover’s Eastern Docks
taken 12 years ago, near to Dover, Kent, England
Ferry Manoeuvres at Dover’s Eastern Docks
The ferry on the right – a P&O - had reversed into the harbour assisted by a tug. This was to provide space for the ferry – a DFDS – in the centre to reverse into the harbour and thence into the berth across from the ferry – another P&O – on the left. When this manoeuvre had been accomplished, this P&O ferry left for The Continent, creating a berth for the other P&O ferry. The tug, in turn, headed in the direction of the Western Docks.
