Level House
Level House
Level House is a ruined building in the valley of Hard Level Gill or Flincher Gill - the OS naming of the stretch of valley changes from one map scale to another. The building was quite possibly never a dwelling but one concerned with lead mining which was very extensive in the valley - spoil heaps are in view.
