) This tumulus was excavated by A.D. Passmore who found a primary cremation in a cist below a cairn of stones, with the rim of an urn and conical shale object. The barrow mound is 1 metre high surrounded by a 3 metre wide quarry ditch from which material was obtained during construction of the monument.
