Location is on a promontory at the east end of Galway Bay, just east of Kinvarra and west of N67 near the junction of N67 & R347. View is to the southwest from N67. The banqueting hall is still used for medieval banquets that include Celtic harp music and the poetry of WB Yeats. Pianist John Tesh chose this location to record track 3 of his music DVD "One World", shown as a Public Television program. Track 3 entitled "Emerald Bay" includes several young Irish girls who step dance to Irish music that I suspect was composed by John Tesh. The DVD includes a behind-the-scenes segment of the making of Track 3 which is quite interesting. Track 4 was filmed in Vaughan's Barn in nearby Kilfenora.
