Sharin' ma chips
Any scattering of food gets instant interest from the bird population - today there appeared a herring-gull (just one! - I was astonished!!), two black-headed gulls, a couple of jackdaws and quite a few starlings.
I'm delighted to find that Seahouses is not festooned with 'DO NOT FEED THE GULLS' signs as is Berwick .... I believe that the gulls were here first, and reckon that they'd be quite happy for us to follow-along and take fair sustenance (as opposed to fishing the seas to the point of extinction) - and I am absolutely certain that they'd NEVER put up signs saying "Do not feed the humans".
