Although seldom used, this dead-end track into Tungadal Forest has recently seen some repair work. Here, landslips had blocked the track-side ditch, so the slipped material has been scooped out and dumped on the opposite side of the track. The trees in the plantation are still some way from being fully mature, so this work on the track must just be routine maintenance, rather than making the track ready for the heavy use it will get during felling operations.
