NY2425 : Bridge across the Derwent

taken 14 years ago, near to Millbeck, Cumbria, England

Bridge across the Derwent
Bridge across the Derwent
A Bailey bridge, composed of sections held together by clamps and pins - very functional, but not pretty. Possibly a replacement for the original High Stock Bridge [and identified as such in NY2425 : High Stock Bridge], which is labelled on the 1:25000 map at a site about 40 m downstream.
