The architect for the conversion was Alex Frank French of Bristol. Some of the furnishings came from the former Fonthill Abbey in

In 2024 the church closed and the congregation moved to worship in the
ST8132 : Parish Church of St Michael The Archangel - Mere. Planning permission was given for demolition of the building and for seven homes to be built on the site.
