Founded in Bala in 1860 as the Merioneth Herald, renamed the Cambrian News
in 1864, the newspaper is published weekly. It covers a large, mainly sparsely
populated area which includes much of Mid Wales, North Wales and West Wales.
Its main office is in Aberystwyth.
Next door on the right is a Plaid Cymru office.
