Looking splendid after a Works visit and still in LMS livery, No. 8660 poses in the Yard. It was built for the LMS by the SR at Eastleigh in 1944 and was employed on the LMS and BR(LMR) until transfer to BR Western Region in the 1950s, on which it remained until withdrawn in 6/65.
