Police on Mountain Bikes
I saw all types of police vehicles present at the Tall Ships Race at Greenock, boat, bike, car, van, helicopter and these two guys on mountain bikes who were watching over the crowds as they made their way down to the Crew Parade. The experience I had of the event was that the police and the marshals did a really great job of managing the festival while I was there, they were friendly and accessible. Job well done.
Tall Ships Race 2011 - Greenock
The first Tall Ships Race of 2011 was from Waterford, Ireland to Inverclyde, Scotland and the arrival of the ships at James Watt Dock and the Great Harbour in Greenock marked the start of a four day festival of fairs and entertainment from the 9th-12th July.
