From Monument Tower, the famous tower block with the pyramid roof is known as One Canada Square which for a brief time was the tallest building in Europe, and until 2010 the tallest in the UK.

One Canada Square, Canary Wharf :: TQ3780

Built between 1988 and 1991, One Canada Square is a 235 metre tall 50 storey skyscraper, containing offices for the financial sector. As of 2009 it is the tallest in the UK, however 4 new buildings are due to surpass it in the near future.
