The A22 approaching the M25
This part of the A22 bypasses Godstone. This section is the only part of the A22 south of the M25 which is dual carriageway until the bypasses in the Hailsham area are reached.

Buses for Routes 409, 410 and 411 were based here. Not long after this photograph was taken, the garage was closed and the buses transferred elsewhere. Private housing now occupies the site.
