There is access to the beach here but the old route has been eroded away and a new unofficial one has been made. Official signs warn against the route whilst unofficial signs give evidence of what to expect when on the beach.

Fairlight Glen is a remote beauty spot east of Hastings. It is well known for the gorse on the Fire Hills above.

This lovely little stream runs from the Dripping Well down to the beach. It is rich in bryopytes (mosses and liverworts) as is the Well itself.
