Cliffe Marshes
The sign on this gate at the side of the Farthing Wall path is certainly unambiguous. In the distance are the cranes at the London Gateway port on the other side of the Thames estuary.

This track from the bottom of Pond Hill in the village of Cliffe leads out onto Cliffe Marshes. There are drainage dykes on either side of the path and sheep beyond the gate. Hundreds of sheep more are out on the marsh.
