This is Bow Road in Wateringbury on Christmas Day. The River Medway has flooded its banks and has covered the road to the north of the station by a foot. Cars still happily drove through but beyond Wateringbury Bridge at Bow Hill the road was closed.

Most of these have clearly seen better days, especially the orange bus and it was certainly many years since it was used by London Underground as shown on its destination.

On Medway Valley Walk (long distance path) from Teston to Wateringbury section. Various mooring berths are used along this picturesque section of river.

The building itself looks to be in good condition, but all the doorways were blocked up and the station is clearly unstaffed now. The platforms are staggered at this station: the photo was taken from the end of the up (westbound) platform.
