Earith and the Ouse Washes from the air
Taken from a flight between Paris CDG and Edinburgh. Earith is the small town at the bottom of the photo. The washes extend for over 30 km beyond the town.

The gable end displays an old advertising plaque for Woodbine "the great little cigarette". I don't know if the side extension was formerly a tobacconist's shop.

The river flows past the Crown's garden and a sign is placed here to attract the attention of boaters. The moorings are in need of some repair, however.
