Marconi Museum, Poldhu Cove

The Marconi Monument
by habiloid
The monument was erected in 1937 to mark the transmission of the first transatlantic radio message (in 1901) from the nearby Poldhu Wireless Station (demolished in 1937). The SW Coast Path runs past it.
