Derelict Gun Testing Bunker Fradley

This bunker was used for setting up, and test firing, the guns fitted to aircraft stationed at Fradley during World War 2. It is very tucked away, and now overgrown, within the woods at Fradley industrial estate. Formerly known as RAF Lichfield.

This is the northern extremity of the Coventry Canal, where it forms a T-junction with the Trent and Mersey Canal. Here, a narrow-beam cruiser is heading southwards along the Coventry Canal. The 'Swan' public house is in the background.
