This unusual curve in the roadside wall isn't a passing place, but is marked with a 'P' on old maps, which I presume means it was the site of a water pump. Sadly no pump is visible today.

Plas Glyn y Weddw Llanbedrog

Glyn-y-Weddw was built for Lady Love Jones Parry as a Dower House in 1856, the Architect being Henry Kennedy. Although it is said she never slept here, she visited it weekly by carriage from Madryn, her home further in the peninsula.... (more)
