Taken at Kelton Mains, the start of the walk from car park to Threave Castle.

Threave Reserve Visitor Centre
This old building at Kelton Mains has been beautifully converted by the National Trust for Scotland into a visitor centre for the nature reserve. One of the main attractions is a viewing platform which gives excellent views of an osprey nest.

Threave Estate Walk on former Kirkcudbright Railway
The last train on this line ran in 1965. Running through farmland, it forms part of the 4km country walk around the National Trust for Scotland's Threave Estate.
