Balloch Castle near the southern shore of Loch Lomond, Balloch. This is the castle as viewed from the rear and at the time I took this picture, with the sun setting, was the best view.

This castle was built in 1808, the original castle on the site having been destroyed in the 1700s. It is now owned by Glasgow City Council and is part of a large country park open to the public.
