Old track to Well-head
by Julian Paren
Now reduced to a footpath with gorse to compete with. The track narrows as it passes the fields by Well-head.

Muddy track in the forest

|
Forestry track under gloomy skies

Forestry track in Blackstand Wood
by valenta
There are two tracks marked on the OS maps that cross the main north-south track. This one that runs off the main track to the west is passable, while the one that runs to the east has gone out of use NH7162 : Fast disappearing track in Blackstand Wood

Flooded forestry track in Grey Cairn Wood
by Julian Paren
Mapped as a track, but certainly ill-advised as a footpath. OS does not discriminate between very well constructed forestry roads and the tracks between plantations used by forestry vehicles.
