On the forestry road in Blackmuir Wood

The road soon became impassable to all except the agile and their dogs. Trees barred the way for 500 metres. Later a sign at the car park was seen that said the "road was closed".

The school opened on 22nd August 2000. The school roll is presently approximately 170 pupils. There are 7 classes in the school and two nursery sessions.
