This new bothy at the eastern end of Camasunary Bay, Isle of Skye, was built as a replacement for the old bothy NG5118 : The Camasunary Bothy, situated at the western end of the bay, which has been taken back by its owner. See also this photo NG5118 : New bothy at Camasunary

One of the most dramatic views on Skye appears when you have followed the track from Kilmarie to Am Mam, the broad bealach due east of the bay of Camusunary. Whether you decide to walk on down into the bay or not, is neither here nor there.... (more)

Looking along the beach towards the bothy and the rough slopes of Sgurr na Stri.

This beach seems to have more plastic washed up on it that any I've ever seen. More like a landfill than a beach in places.
