Example written accounts from this D-block
- Connects Hill Halton farm with Deepwood Lane. Still easy to use, many are almost impenetrable in Summer. The land here improves once the Bringewood scarp is left and is good arable land on the Plymouth Estate. The hills here are a continuation of Wenlock Edge and part of a great 80km long... - The square is mostly forest, with quite a large proportion of oak. There is also some farmland surrounding the house at Maryknoll. on Oakwoods, Sunny Gutter. by Richard Webb
- Mainly sheep farming country. Vibrant spring yellow from the rape field. This whole area is part of the Earl of Plymouth Estate and we believe the Duchess Walk refers to Lady Mary Windsor-Clive, wife of The Earl of Plymouth, who lived at Oakly Park in the 19th century. on Lane from Duchess Walk through Oakly Park by Trevor Rickard
- Recently completed petrol station on the outskirts of Ludlow. Take a look at Ian Capper's photographs of the same structure being constructed: Link on Applegreen Petrol Station (Ludlow) by Fabian Musto
- The dip slope of the great limestone ridge between Radnorshire and Ironbridge has a small deep reentrant here. There are pools at intervals the whole length of the 1200m long dingle. This is the nearest to the old A49. on Fishpools, Ludford Park by Richard Webb
- View east from the central keep of the castle with the town centre just behind the gate. Only the foreground inside the gate is in SO5074 with the grid line running across the picture just in front of the ornate Victorian building in the centre of the picture. This was the Market Hall but... (more) on Ludlow by Nigel Mykura
- Looking across wheatfields to the south of Ludford. The houses used to be the millionaire's row of Ludlow, but that distinction is somewhat blurred now given that most properties in the town are unaffordable on a normal wage. on Ludford by Richard Webb
- St Peter's Roman Catholic church in Ludlow is visible from many parts of the town given it position on the hill and its vast size. on St Peter's by Michael Patterson
