The view is across the park land that surrounds Chatsworth House. The home of the Duke of Devonshire. This is yet another area in Derbyshire that has good walks.

Two stags and a herd of about forty hinds. The stags were busy keeping the harem together, till some of them decided to make a run for it, on a day when the sun was reluctant to come out.
