This footpath to " The Ashes " seemed well maintained at least at this end. The photographer was standing on the National boundary looking towards England.

Always interesting to see the effects of a good old fashioned cold spell. Pretty rare these days. I am sure that it isn't frozen solid - it has only been minus 4, I think - but the top is solid ice.
