Despite abandonment, the trackbed of the Wymondham - Wells railway appears to be in reasonably good condition; the Mid Norfolk Railway has long-term aspirations to reopen this stretch for a heritage train service.

This decorative bridge once spanned the line between Fakenham and East Dereham. This view faces south-east towards the point where the line used to pass close to Sennowe Hall. See TF9725 : Looking up the line to Fakenham for opposite view.
