Two aircraft can be seen in the sky above as the photo was taken on the day when the Norfolk Air Show was held.

The Nissen huts formed part of the WW2 airfield of Old Buckenham. They are now part of an industrial area alongside an earthwork known as Bunns Bank, believed to be from Saxon times.

Bunn's Bank is a fragmentary earthwork that runs for about two miles along the south and east of the parish. No one knows exactly how old the embankment is, but it could be early Saxon in date. The locals, however, say that it was... (more)

This was Site 7, the 735th Bomb Squadron's accommodation site during WW2. Some of the buildings have since been converted for domestic use.
