Summit rocks on Allt yr Esgair looking west
On a clear day these rocks offer an almost ideal view of the Brecon Beacons, which are obscured by low cloud today. The Usk Valley therefore draws the eye, with its meanders, rich reddish soils, roads and settlements, such as Talybont-on-Usk.
