Out of sight beyond the horizon lies the town of Tetbury about 7 kilometres from the viewpoint to the south-east. Just below the skyline the low angle of the sun reveals evidence of old quarry workings.

A "gap in the wall" stile with a removable gate on Gloucestershire footpath MHO15. The inscription reads "Please replace board. To prevent our dogs getting onto the road. Thank You." The view from the road is ST8498 : Stone Stile, Horsley.

This is the fishery building, part of the Ruskin Mill College, Nailsworth, Gloucestershire.

Originally the stream and ponds in this Cotswold valley were used to power the woollen mills which abounded here. Now, however, this area is a fish farm and is part of Ruskin Mill College.
