The B4009 from Streatley to Newbury is called Haw Lane to the right of this junction. Haw farm is straight across in this picture and behind it is an airstrip which used to be the old Hampstead Norreys Airfield.
SU5576 : Dog Lane west of Ashampstead by Stuart Logan Dog Lane west of Ashampstead
Unusually, this lane seems to be constructed of concrete sections instead of the conventional continuous foundation. Could it be anything to do with the old Hampstead Norreys airfield a short distance to the west?
