This view of the Beehive on Middle Hill was taken in 2002 but happily the pub still appears to be thriving in 2024. At the time there was obviously a beer festival coming up over the bank holiday weekend - let's hope it went well.

Art Deco listed building, built in 1935 as a Vauxhall/Bedford garage. It is now the home of Maranello, who sell Ferrari and Maserati.

The reason for the sign is that the lane is part of National Cycle Network Route 4. Westbound cyclists face quite a stiff climb from this point.
