: Granite outcrop by Jonathan Wilkins Granite outcrop
The low crags of Maol an t-Sidhein comprise a series of offshoots from the Ross of Mull Granite which intrude the Moine Schist. The poor soils and lack of drainage make for a rather dull, boggy landscape.
: A Curious Pit by Anne Burgess A Curious Pit
In the foreground is a small pit of unknown (to me, at least) purpose with a wall on the side next the track. I
: Farm Building Near Track by Rude Health Farm Building Near Track
We walked past this farm building on the twisting track while walking to and from Beinn a'Chaol-airigh. This building will belong to the organic farm called Ardanalish Farm.

: Sheepfolds by Anne Burgess Sheepfolds
These interlinked pens for managing sheep are in excellent repair; a discreet plaque on the outer wall records that they were restored in 1984 by Dochie MacCormick and John Cameron.
