The River Team at Teams in Gateshead.

This footpath, known as Hadrians Way and also a cycle path, runs along the north bank of the Tyne west from the city centre.

Skinnerburn Road runs along the north bank of the Tyne in Newcastle.

National Cycle Network route 14 (the Keelman's Way) leaves the riverbank at Dunston Coal Staithes and passes through this modern housing estate.

The original 19th Century gas holders of the former Redheugh gas works.

At this point, the River Team flows into the River Tyne, next to Dunston Coal Staiths. There is a small area of recreated salt marsh on the right bank, a reminder of what the area looked like several centuries ago.

The Team here is close to its confluence with the River Tyne and is clearly tidal. The footbridge also appears to carry a pipeline.

The first time I've been to Newcastle and it's by the Tyne but no fog it's a nice sunny day.
