Dating from the latter part of the seventeenth century, this old bridge across the river Lagan south of Belfast is now bypassed by a modern structure which carries the visible lamp standards. It is no longer open to vehicular traffic.

This bridge carries the A55 Outer Ringroad around the City of Belfast.
Path through the arboretum in the Barnett Demesne, Belfast (the opposite view to J3168 : Path, Barnett Demesne). A few weeks ago I saw around a dozen squirrels (all grey) along here; today there was none, but there was a wide variety of bird life.
Originally built in the 1820s the house was presented to the City of Belfast in 1946. Almost totally destroyed by fire in 1976, it was rebuilt by Belfast City Council and re-opened in 1983.
