This is on a very rural and pretty part of the canal. The canal takes an extremely twisty route at this point, presumably to 'contour hug'.

There isn't really a centre to East Marton village. There's this bit by the canal, with the Abbot's Harbour restaurant, a stables and a few houses, then another bit by the main road, with a few more places down a lane by the church.
