Fifth Time Read Review
Well, actually I’ve finished reading this book for the fifth time MONTHS AGO. I even have reread the first and the second book for the sixth time. But I haven’t reread this finale book for the sixth time. Hopefully soon. Honestly, what am I supposed to write on this review? HAHA. It is SO CLEAR how much I love this book to the point I reread it for the fifth time (and still counting!). If you need to know more of the book, just scroll down a bit and read my previous reviews, since my opinion is still basically the same.
THIS TRILOGY IS A GEM. If you haven’t read this, I suggest you to consider to give it a try. Why? Well, 1) this trilogy has a great platonic friendship between a girl and a boy. 2) A truly heart touching romance. 3) Enemies to lovers. 4) slow burn romance 5) a fucking great plot & characters.
I’ve always said that this trilogy has a special place in my heart. Well, now it’s not in my heart anymore. IT WILL FOREVER RESIDE IN MY SOUL. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH.

Fourth Time Read Review
I honestly don't know what to write on this review. This trilogy was just so perfect. So amazing and no matter how many times I reread this trilogy, I always find myself falling to it all over again. This trilogy indeed has a special place in my heart and I hope this will never change.
The characters development in this trilogy was also written very well. They became maturer and I could see their development. It was amazing. Sometimes it's funny to think that I haven't fallen in love with anyone in my real life but I've been loving Perry since I was 15 and a half. Maybe I sound cheesy right now lol but that's the truth.
This trilogy changed me and I'm so grateful for the changes. This trilogy inspires me to never give up and a few days ago, we had this event in my campus and I was chosen to be the speaker for a few minutes and I was so nervous and scared because that was my first time standing in front of a large crowd but I always spoke to myself that I wouldn't give up. I would do it and I just wouldn't give up. This trilogy also inspires me to spread kindness or do good things to other people.
It's been a few days since I finished reading this book but I already miss all of the characters. I will reread this trilogy again next year because this trilogy is so perfect. Third Time Read Review
SPOILER-FREE REVIEW
He looked back, still walking, and pressed a hand to his
heart.
This is the third time I read this trilogy and thankfully, my feelings are exactly the same as the first and the second time I read it. I had so much fun reading this trilogy and I have binge read it for the past few weeks, so it's kind of hard for me to leave the world of this trilogy. I feel so attached to the trilogy. To the plot. To the characters. Basically everything and every time I finish this trilogy I always feel both happy and sad.
AND THIS TRILOGY STILL MANAGED TO MAKE ME CRY, EVEN THOUGH THAT IS THE THIRD TIME I READ IT. To be honest, I'm so impressed, because I used to cry a lot toward books 3 years ago, but now I don't really cry that often now. BUT THIS BOOK. DAMN. THIS BOOK TORTURED ME. I felt like the book itself punched me in the gut and said " MUAHAHAHAHA HOW DOES IT FEEL?" I don't know how many times my eyes got teary or even cried or even laughed out loud while I was reading this trilogy.
One of the things that I love from this trilogy is the friendship between a girl and a boy that DOES NOT end up being a couple. They care for each other and I also get this feeling that they love each other. But only as best friends and THEY ARE SO SWEET. OMG. I need a best friend like him in my real life. This is the kind of friendship that I have always looked for in books and I can't get enough of it. If you have any recommendation of platonic relationship between a boy and a girl that does not end up falling in love in the end, PLEASE DO TELL ME.
This trilogy always makes me feel a lot of emotions and no matter how many times I read it, I always feel attached to the characters. To most of them and I can relate to Aria and always agree with her. Like we have the same mind and God, I love Perry so much and I'm so relieved that my feelings toward him doesn't change, even though this is the third time I read it. I will definitely reread this trilogy again in the future, but this time I won't reread it a year later but I will reread it two years from now, because I want to forget most of the plot and the conversation in this trilogy, so I can enjoy it more.
I highly recommend you to read this trilogy BECAUSE IT IS SO AMAZING. Thank you for reading and liking this review. I appreciate it very much and I hope you all have an amazing day!

I just don't know what to say. I'm shocked. My reaction to this third and final book was so completely unexpected that I've tried several times over the past couple of months to get into it. I was sure it was just me picking it up at the wrong time and not being ready to appreciate it. But, after trying at least ten times to read this book, I've had to put it aside indefinitely. I was finding it so dull that I started skim-reading.
What happened?? I enjoyed Under the Never Sky and I absolutely loved Through the Ever Night. I've been so excited for this final installment but there was nothing holding my attention. The characters I love felt flat and uninteresting... this almost never happens when I'm already invested in their stories. I found myself unable to care about Roar and Perry's grief and I couldn't care what would happen or where this book was going.
Normally I wouldn't give more than 1 star to a book I struggled to make it halfway through, but I'm giving 2 just because I've enjoyed the first two books of this trilogy so much. So disappointing. Hopefully it's just me and other GR members won't have the same problem.

Before I talk about the book, I just want to say that when it comes to Perry, I can't stop thinking about Chris Hemsworth the whole time because of his appearance and body figure.
Don't you agree he's the perfect role for him?
As the title indicates, Into the Still Blue is the last one of this series and apparently, the characters will find the Still Blue eventually. Since the result is quite obvious, what captivates me is the process in between.
Those characters have developed into something much more memorable and seeing them grow mature is such a relief. Take Roar for example, after what he went through when such unbelievably horrible and tragic thing happened to Liv in the previous book, the only cure that can help him recover is time. Mercifully, with all the incidents in this book, he's finally able to put a big, genuine smile on his face.
To my surprise, the author draws me into believing certain facts and thinking stereotypically of some characters at first; however, with each turning point she creates, the truth blows my mind tremendously. To put it differently, I may change the way I feel about Soren, Brooke, and even Hess afterwards. But I will never change that about Sable.
Sable's still the worst person I've seen and his wicked ideas know no boundary. A Blood Lord without heart; fake kindness along with expert manipulator are the trademarks of him.
Almost everyone I've hated in the first 2 installments turned out to be just the opposite kind of people and that totally shocked me. Though some villains completely live up to my expectation of their cruelty and brutality. Thus, the entire development and transformation of the characters perfectly satisfy me here.
The most heartbreaking scene I experienced is all about Cinder. In this book, we'll learn much more information regarding the Aether and the Still Blue. Frankly, my theory about the Aether in book one was far from what it really is, but the truth impresses me a lot. Even though I know there will be steep sacrifice if Perry and Sable's tribes decide to break through the thick Aether and start a new leaf, the actual feeling is surreal when it was made. :(
There's no denying an impressive story involves some essential losses of good guys/warriors/brothers, and the same amount for bad ones. Therefore, when everything settles in the end, it's the spirit emitting from the survivors that nearly brings tears to my eyes. Their optimism and the way they hold a thread of hope give this series a fantasticly happy ending.
As for the disadvantage, in my opinion, both the inevitable sacrifice and the last bloody battle for the title of Blood Lord can be much more intensive or action-packed than they were described in the story, so the lacking of emotion is still the minor flaw in the series.
All in all, Under the Never Sky is a series I highly recommend to everyone and the story is indeed something worth reading. :)

My Expanding Thoughts (Optional reading for you!)
The best part of this series/book is that Veronica left us with enough space for imagination and provided me with various insights into several aspects in reality. Let me start with the basic, main concept of the story from my viewpoint. As we know, she started mentioning the Aether from the beginning of the series as if we the readers were supposed to know what it was by instinct. Not until I finished this one did I fully understand what the Aether was like. And it's the same for this extraterrestrial child, Cinder. As I quoted for my topic, "they brought the Dwellers and Outsiders together and that's the way it should stay forever", I imagine the story is probably implying the origin of homo-sapiens, aka the beginning of human beings. Perhaps our ancestors were seperated for generations because of natural disasters(Aether here), tribes(Tides vs. Horns), social hierarchy(Dwellers vs. Outsiders)...etc. So as numerous unpeaceful centuries passed, the final survivors allied with each other to start anew. That's how the new world began.
In the meanwhile, the same notion reminded me of Pangu in the Chinese mythology. I'm no expert in this field, but as far as I'm concerned, Pangu seperated the sky from the earth and created the world. It's similar to the logistics of Exodus in the Western culture, when Moses led the Israelites from slavery in Egypt across the seperated Red Sea into the wilderness.
Lastly, this story brought out the ugliest side of humanity as well. I'm serious when I said Sable was the most cold-blooded snob; it's not his action that made me think so(well, not really) but his words that had me shiver and turned my blood icy cold in no time.
I guess that's sort of true in the world we all live in, so BEWARE OF THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU, GUYS! SOME OF THEM MAY BE DEVILS IN DISGUISE!! *Why do I suddenly sound so evil?*
Anyway, that's all I feel when reading this series and if you're still here awake, just know that I cannot tell you how grateful I am now! Thanks for reading my longest thoughts ever and thanks for being so patient!! <3*1,0000000000 times

Maybe his grief was like her wounded arm. Slowly healing. Gradually becoming less consuming as life delivered other worries and other joys. Other sources of pain and happiness.

Maybe he wanted to quantify Sable's ruthlessness. Futile, Perry knew. He could drop a stone into the black well of Sable's heart and never hear it hit the bottom.

He could be kind, when kindness lured a person to take a sip of poison. He could be charming and considerate. He could fool a person into believing he had a heart.

Oh, and Veronica Rossi is a goddess of amazing genius who I adore with complete abandon. Thank you so much for Perry, Aria and Roar. I'm so sad their amazing story is over!

Five Things That Might Surprise You About INTO THE STILL BLUE!
1. It was the fastest book of the trilogy to draft. (Revising is another matter.)
2. Roar has a tattoo along his arm/shoulder and you get to see it. (And I believe you will very much enjoy seeing it.)
3. Soren.
4. One (or more) main characters might be captured and imprisoned by the bad guys. Maybe.
5. I rewrote the last chapter more than any scene in the entire novel until I was finally, finally perfectly happy with it.

LOVEEEEEEEEEED ITTT.
Veronica Rossi is officially one of my favorite authors. She can't do wrong, I promise. Every single one of the books in this series has been absolutely PERFECT. 'Into the Still Blue" was everything I wanted and more. I laughed, I giggled. I cried (along with Perry and Aria). Perfect conclusion for a perfect series.
The only bad thing I can say about the Under the Never Sky series is that it is over.
I'm going to miss Roar and his jokes. Aria and her awesomeness. I'm going to miss Soren and his hilarious mean retorts. Perry and, well, everything about Perry. He's one of my favorite heroes EVER. And let me tell you, not everyone gets into that list. I'm a tough nut to crack, but Perry *flais*. I love you.
The story was perfect. Pace, action, romance, add some crying. Read this book NOW, people. And if you haven't read the series... What are you waiting? GO!

'Into the Still Blue" was everything I wanted and more. I laughed, I giggled. I cried (along with Perry and Aria). Perfect conclusion for a perfect series.
The only bad thing I can say about the Under the Never Sky series is that it is over.
I'm going to miss Roar and his jokes. Aria and her awesomeness. I'm going to miss Soren and his hilarious mean retorts. Perry and, well, everything about Perry. He's one of my favorite heroes EVER. And let me tell you, not everyone gets into that list. I'm a tough nut to crack, but Perry *flais*. I love you.
The story was perfect. Pace, action, romance, add some crying. Read this book NOW, people. And if you haven't read the series... What are you waiting? GO!

•Pretty obviously, the romance is once again a rather important part of the story, and once again I was more annoyed than pleased by it and by the way it was handled. The only thought worth mentioning I was capable of formulating whenever Percy and Aria entered the scene was (other than "Argh please just go away") was "Go get a room and spare me your ridiculous PDA". And I am usually not against PDA, I even like them as long as there's a bit of moderation and enough common sense to understand where to draw a line and restrain oneself. Well, they have neither. And whether you're in her head or his, it doesn't matter, you can bet sooner or later you'll stumble upon at least one paragraph per chapter where the other's obviously superhuman good looks are glorified with praises such as "He was real and solid and beautiful" and STAHP.
So, yes. They are insufferable. On top of that, I didn not care for them the littlest bit. And I strongly feel that .
•I would like to add something about the characters, but as I have already explained, Aria and Perry seem to exist purely in relation one to the other, and all the others are little more impressive than that. No one really brought me to care.
•I liked that in the end went all the way without (mock-)tragic, miraculous returns. It's not that I wouldn't have been glad for him in that case, since who we're talking about was a decent character and a nice kid, but it would only have been pathetic and of little effect. Story-wise, this way was so much better.
•I truly am sorry, but Rossi's plots still don't convince me. The book is action-packed and fast-paced, but it all seems to me only superficial. For the whole trilogy, I felt like things kept happening as if by inertia, faintly propelled by the residue of a long-forgotten momentum. These events have no significance whatsoever, and once again, my interest was nonexistent.
•The fact that so far I've mentioned the world-building only in my review of Under the Never Sky and only to express perplexity (along with no little amount of unsuccessful hopefulness) says all there is to say. It's not exactly lacking, and it answers the questions it raises; the thing is that those questions were not as many as I'd anticipated. From one of the most famous sci-fi ya series of the last years, I expected something more elaborate. But it makes sense and it's satisfying so I can easily make do with that.
➽ Key words to understand this series (only through my eyes, of course): mediocre, but enjoyable nonetheless. I suggest picking it up if you are simply looking for a relazing read, don't mind if the writing style and the plot are average, and above all, if you are are keen on romance and can stand two main characters who would keep their hands on each other 24/7.

The best feeling is when something takes you by surprise. When something totally unexpected happens and you're left marveling at the sight wondering how you never saw it sooner. I never expected to fall in love with this series the way I have. If those first pages were anything to go by, this series would have never seen the inside of my heart but as the story progressed I couldn't help but become mesmerized.
I fell for Perry and his undying devotion and love. I fell for the way he cared and fought for his tribe, for his need to survive and come through on his promise that they would all make it out alive.
I fell for Aria's resolve, her strength and loyalty. I fell for the way she grew through her challenges, for every step was a struggle but she refused to be stopped.
I fell for Roar's laughter and jokes, his smiles and sarcasm. I fell for his all consuming love for Liv and the friendship he strived for with Aria. I feel for his mistakes, his pain and the smiles that never reached his eyes.
I fell for Cinder's need to be loved. For Talon's faith in his uncle. For Molly's kind heart. For Brooke's redeeming soul. For Soren's mean comebacks. For Reef's grouchy behavior. For Marron's soft-hearted replies. For Liv's everlasting presence.
I doubt I'll ever find a perfect series. One that has no faults or that I wouldn't change a thing. There will always be something; be it the world building or the characters, be it the ending or the unanswered questions. But when you find one that despite all errors makes your heart soar and the butterflies kick, I think that makes it worth it because all that matter in the end is if you fall.

I don't have much to say about it. I loved Under the Never Sky, I enjoyed Through the Ever Night and I liked Into the Still Blue. It was a satisfying finale, though I'd have been happier with a little more action. The story was too predictable, with no big surprises.

Absolutely amazing conclusion to the series. I'm definitely going to be stuck on this book for a while. It gave me so many more reasons to love the series and to call it my favorite.
I'm happy but at the same time I want to cry.

I recommend Into The Still Blue.
Through the Ever Night is much better IMO. Still, better ending than I thought possible for this series. :)

Into the Still Blue was not spectacular, to tell you the truth. Although compared to Reached, it's more quick paced; and compared to Champion, it has more swoon moments.
The best thing about this finale is that Aria and Perry did not waste time. They took what was needed (from each other), and they did what what needs to be done (for each other). Aria is a grown woman now, stronger and more matured than when she was still a Dweller. Perry is more outspoken, and more confident as the Tides blood lord, and Aria's partner.
But. But.
Roar's character was a sore thumb. I understood his grief, but he did not understood Perry's (and how different his friend mourns for their loss). Roar went from hero to zero for me. And that's a shame!
Cinder was a loose, loose end. that's it for Cinder?!!! It was a very abrupt exit for Cinder, this boy who supposedly will be their savior, the one that will usher Aether's survivors into the Still Blue. It was pretty disappointing that his character was handled carelessly, like that.
The parts that I was so pissed about are these:
(1) Aria's business with Kirra was not settled properly. I mean, c'mon on! I was eager for a cat fight!!! What a letdown.
(2) Perry's inevitable showdown with Sable was anticlimactic. Lame combat, anyone? Since I first met Sable in Through the Ever Night with Roar and Liv, I wildly anticipated his meeting with Perry. But I was in for a boring battle of the blood lords. :(
I super loved Under the Never Sky series. But the finale was sort of bland, dampened down to maybe make sure that it has a neat ending. And it was, but I will not call it phenomenal.

Into the Still Blue was an amazing conclusion to a series I will hold dear to my heart!
We catch up with Aria and Perry after the fall of the Dwellers compound and the capture of Cinder. They have to frantically work together to save all the survivors by finding the Still Blue. But Sable is a formidable foe and a completely evil one at that. Now that he has Hess working with him and all his resources I wondered if Perry and Aria would be able to prevail. What am I saying here? Of course Veronica Rossi would not disappoint her fans! I will say that it was one hell of a ride with danger, moments of anxiousness and some heartbreak!
One of the things I loved about this series is the lack of a love triangle. Yes Perry and Aria had their hurdles and lows to overcome but there was never a serious third party contender. I’m so happy Ms. Rossi stayed away from that overused and annoying plot device. (I’m looking at you Unearthly, Shatter Me, Nightshade, and The Infernal Devices!). When there were problems, they talked *gasp* and worked it out! No irritating non-communication issues! Yes, Ms. Rossi gave the YA group some credit and didn’t assume they couldn’t conduct a relationship in a healthy way! Every time Perry and Aria were together my heart raced because of the electricity of their connection. Here’s a quote that made my heart soar:
“He leaned down, bracing his arms on either side of her, his lips soft as they kissed a trail from her mouth to her ear. “What I was trying to say,” he whispered, “is that I see you in everything. There isn’t a word for you that means enough, because you’re everything to me.”*
Both Perry and Aria were strong and courageous on their own, and I like that their relationship didn’t diminish that. They seemed to bring out the best and root for each other; their love made each other stronger.
When you finish a series you enjoy with characters that you adore, you can’t help but feel a twinge of sadness saying goodbye. This has been one of my favorite YA series to date, and I look forward to whatever Veronica Rossi has in store for us next!

If you feel like reading dystopian series is like reading Hunger Games all over again with just few twists and turns, I suggest you read this Series to give you a fresh feel on dystopians. Plus Aria and Perry's love story is totally amazing and Roar reminds me so much of one of my favorite characters- Kenji of Shatter Me series!!! :)

Aaahhh, this was a great conclusion to yet another epic book trilogy that I really liked!
Even though I enjoyed this series immensely, I just couldn't give this 5 stars. It just didn't touch me as deeply as some other book trilogies out there.. *cough*

This whole book was really fast-paced and didn't bore me for even a second! Sometimes it felt a bit rushed in my opinion, but maybe that's because I always liked a bit more details and chit-chat in my books :)
Basically this book in a nutshell: reaching the Still Blue, trying to get Cinder back, getting revenge and forging alliances, all while trying to keep everyone alive and survive the worsening Aether storms.
Aria and Perry are definitely one of my favorite book couples of all time. Aaargh... total relationship goals right there! I could just feel how much they care for and love each other! My all time favorite character is Roar though. Seriously, if Roar existed in real life, I'd want him as my best friend asap! He's just so loyal, funny and true to himself, he loves really deeply and AAAARGH I can't get over him!
Actually, now that I think about it, I loved all the characters in these books. Yes, even Sable, just a teeny tiny bit! He's just someone who wants to be loved, accepted and respected and I can't blame him for that.
I'm also really glad that Aria finally got to meet her father, who is secretly also one of my new favorite characters.
I'm so sad that some of my favorite characters died (I won't say who) but I felt that it was necessary for the story, to make it more believable and so you'll be more happy for the characters who did survive and reached the Still Blue. This book deals with a lot of hard decisions, loss, survival and revenge. It was really well executed though and I couldn't be happier with the ending!
Overall, I really enjoyed these books and I'm totally going to read them again someday! I'd strongly recommend all YA/dystopian lovers to read this series! :)

There’s just something about Veronica Rossi’s writing that makes you forget about your own life. You find yourself transported into its pages and I love that feeling. In this case, I was psyched to read this. The final book in the trilogy starts off with a revelation that there could be a place without the storm. A place where they could all be safe and free from the storms that surge in the sky.
Aria and Perry search for this place throughout the book, and they end up finding answers to some questions they've been meaning to answer. In Roar’s case, it’s about his loved one, who just so happens to be Perry’s sister. I felt so much sympathy for Roar in this one. Hurting like he did and still trying to live day by day couldn’t have been easy. He’s so different in this one, so broken and it didn’t even feel the same. He wasn’t cracking as many jokes or laughing. A side to his character that shows how much he’s grown or in this case, how much he’s experienced.
This one was one page turner, and I just loved the ending. At one point, it felt like it did end, but you realize there’s more pages so that was a rare treat. Usually books just end in an instant without any more to go on. Not in this case, because we get to see what is to come for their future.

Two words that describe this book: beautiful and tragic.
i can't believe it's the end of this series. This series has been sitting on my shelves for like a year or a two and tell you what, i've only gotten myself to go give it a chance like last week and it was worth it. Totally.
The plot was utterly well studied and how I was amazed by Rossi's writing style. The pacing of the novel was quite good, I mean really good. I swear.
There are no boring moments. Everyone single character of this series has touched my soul. That everything about them makes them family except from blood.
How I even grew fond of the protagonists for they played their roles well. That I sometimes want to hug them and punch them and throw them into the wolves and hope that they won't come back leading them.
From the dedication up to the acknowledgement, it was worth reading it. This world was cruel yet magical. It makes me wonder of what future might become.
The twist and turns of the story totally hooked me. So many revelations. If only my sister was not sitting next to me, I would've cried many times because this book was just so beautiful yet heartbreaking.

Even though the ending was rushed! I still enjoyed it!! The scenes in where Perry and Aria swam in order to get to this certain cave was golden! And the scene where Perry was taking of his pants then Aria entered the room was utterly hilarious. That made me closed the book for a while and laugh maniacally. My god! I need to go to the church.
The farewell scenes in where all of them thought that they were not going to see each other broke my heart. My heart was crushed at that moment and PAK U SABLE!

i can't believe it's the end of this series. This series has been sitting on my shelves for like a year or a two and tell you what, i've only gotten myself to go give it a chance like last week and it was worth it. Totally.
The plot was utterly well studied and how I was amazed by Rossi's writing style. The pacing of the novel was quite good, I mean really good. I swear.
There are no boring moments. Everyone single character of this series has touched my soul. That everything about them makes them family except from blood.
How I even grew fond of the protagonists for they played their roles well. That I sometimes want to hug them and punch them and throw them into the wolves and hope that they won't come back leading them.
From the dedication up to the acknowledgement, it was worth reading it. This world was cruel yet magical. It makes me wonder of what future might become.
The twist and turns of the story totally hooked me. So many revelations. If only my sister was not sitting next to me, I would've cried many times because this book was just so beautiful yet heartbreaking.

I loved this but a character deserved better 😭😭. I'm gonna miss my babies!

This is a review for the last book in the series. There may inadvertently be spoilers for previous books. You’ve been warned.
Perry and Aria are desperately trying to unite both the Dwellers and the Outsiders and find a way to access the Still Blue and find safety from the Aether storms before Sable and Hess. But first they have to get Cinder back because he’s the key to getting everyone to safety.
None of what they have to achieve is easy and to top things off Roar returns to camp furious with Perry (WHAT WHAT WHAT!!). Into The Still Blue will have friendships and alliances being tested and revelations and sacrifices being made but the end of this novel you will be on the edge of your seat turning page after page to see what happens to these beloved characters.
Into the Still Blue is an amazing conclusion for an amazing series and I couldn’t have been more satisfied. But I have to be honest… I’m sad. I’m horrendously sad. BECAUSE there isn’t going to be anymore. This is it and I don’t want to have to say goodbye.
But I’ve decided for this review, I’m not going to get into specifics about the story… at this point, you have to know my love for this series, the world, the characters, the words and of course Veronica Rossi. So instead … reasons why you need to read this series.
1. Under The Never Sky has amazing characters that you can’t help but cheer for and against time and again. You will laugh, cry, yell and get angry right along with Perry, Roar, Aria, Cinder, Brooke, Hess, and Sable.
2. Best bromance in the history of bromances (I bumped Turk n JD for Perry and Roar btw and if you know what this means we should be bff's)
3. The friendships in this story are so well done that I want to live with all of them … I’d even suffer the Aether and life in The Tides just to be able to call them friends and have that unwaivering bond with them.
4. Rossi creates incredible, complicated relationships and I’m not just talking between Perry and Aria – they definitely have complications to deal with, but there are so many others and so many layers. And there are some reveals that happen that will have you trying to make sense of what could possibly happen and you’ll be wrong, because the twists and turns that Rossi takes to get there are so wonderfully done and surprising.
5. Action action action – This book has it all, from beginning to end you will be engrossed in this perfectly paced story.
6. Swoon – you know I love my swoon and Rossi delivers.I have so many passages marked in this book ... but I'll narrow it down.
“What brought you out here, Aria?” he asked.
She looked up, right into his eyes. “I needed to find you.”
“I know,” he said. “The second I left you, I felt the same way.”
and
What I was trying to say,” he whispered, “is that I see you in everything. There isn’t a word for you that means enough, because you’re everything to me.”
The journey that these characters take and the story that Rossi has crafted in this series has become one of my favorites and while I’m horribly depressed that this is the end of this series, I am so incredibly happy that I had the chance to read it and experience her words. It’s definitely a series that I will be returning to in the future and one that I will recommend for a long time to come.
If for some strange and weird reason you have not started this series, I can’t tell you enough to drop what you are doing… go now and buy these books and start reading. Don’t forget the novellas because they are just as amazing as the actual books. If you start now, you’ll be prepared for the arrival of Into The Still Blue and there is no need to thank me for making you do this.

The trilogy-ending curse has been broken.
Now I get why it took me 3 tries to finally buckle down and read Into the Still Blue. The final installment was good in its own right, but it was very different in execution. I had been expecting one thing, and when I got something else, I think I balked at it without realizing. Once I got over the fact that the character-driven vibe of the past two books wasn't going to be as strong of a factor here, I settled in to enjoy the one thing that I always say YA sci-fi books need more of : actual sci-fi.
While I still missed some of what made UTNS and TTEN so special to me, I understood why the trilogy ending needed to branch off and kick some ass.
All in all, this was a satisfying (okay, so one thing could have been more satisfying...but I get it...sigh) end to an excellent trilogy. Well done, Ms. Rossi.

I cannot even form words for how much I loved this book! It was so good! I loved the first two books in this series soo much, and this book was no exception. It was full of action like the previous book, though there wasn't as much of a romantic aspect, it was still there and strong. I love Perry and Roar and Aria. I thought for a second or two that I would die at the ending, but I managed to make it through. I loved every single word! I was transfixed and didn't stop until the end, which came at 2:30 in the morning!!
It was a truly amazing end to a wonderful dystopian series. I really don't want it to end! I have to know what happens with some of the other characters! Rossi's writing is stellar as usual, and the duel POVs are still great. I didn't think I could like Aria's character any more, but somehow Rossi managed that as well. Some of her confidence is taken away at the end of TTEN and she has to find a way to work through it, for the good of everyone. Perry is still Perry. He has to stay strong and not let anything bother him for the good of his tribe. Roar, well, he's hurting from the loss of Liv still, and has to deal with his grief.
Overall, it was amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better ending! I'm just sad now it's over!

Are you looking for an entertaining dystopian trilogy that doesn't get progressively worse with each book? Then look no further! The Under the Never Sky trilogy might be exactly what you're looking for! Some things that speak for these books: solid world building that doesn't completely fall apart in the last book; a cute and in its own way even kind of realistic romance (and I'm usually not one to swoon over romances in YA dystopias); an awesome platonic (!) friendship between a guy and a girl (pretty unique for this genre!) and a great plot that takes some twists and turns along the way. The story itself isn't the most original and follows the general recipe for YA dystopias, plus, the story becomes pretty angsty at times, but all in all, I think that this trilogy is worth your time and I'd definitely recommend it!

Such a fantastic ending to a phenomenal series. The characters have been through so much and gone through so much development. They remained true to themselves though, and it is so amazing. I just can't rave about this series enough!
I love this world, it's so creative and interesting. I also felt like there were no plot holes and every question was answered :)
I read this book so quickly, I couldn't stop! The writing flows so nicely and is so intriguing.

Into the Still Blue was an action packed, stunning conclusion! And just like the two previous books, this story was an emotional journey. Torture, love, sacrifice, it honestly felt like my heart would stop beating at times. Even while they were strategizing, since the risks they were willing to take felt monumental. This series has easily become one of my favorite dystopian series ever, and I can't recommend it highly enough!
I started out this book feeling overwhelmed. Their situation had become dire. The Tides and Dwellers were about to become trapped in the cave and die because of how the aether was changing. They had to find the Still Blue! But to do that they needed hoovers and Cinder, which were both in the custody of Hess and Sable. And while that seemed daunting enough, their relationships with one another were all twisted. Roar, Aria, Perry. Nothing felt right. Oh. My. Gosh. I just wanted to curl into a ball and cry with how much each of them were struggling or suffering or pretending that they weren't. I felt suffocated from their drama, but thankfully there was an awesome distraction coming up!
They had to form a team to rescue Cinder and obtain more hoovers. Hmm, I guess I should rephrase that, an unlikely team. Perry, Aria, Roar, Soren, Brooke and Jupiter. I definitely was uncertain about this, because while each of them was perfect for the mission, together they were not a good mesh. They fought. They didn't always work together. And they screwed up because of those issues. But I will say that I found hope. Aria played a joke on Soren, which made me laugh so hard. And that moment led to that hope. Hope that this mismatched team would pull together and make not only everyone else, but themselves proud too! I mean, everyone's survival rests on their shoulders. No biggie right?
I have to say a word about each character that affected me so strongly:
Aria & Perry - She made me so proud with the strategizing she came up with. Her and Perry have grown immensely since their first encounter. And Perry now felt like a true leader. The decisions and sacrifices he made, I'm so proud of him, even if I still can't talk about it.
Roar - I never thought I'd find two book boyfriends in a story. But I absolutely loved Roar. Even when he was being an emotional ass. I will never be able to get him out of my head.
Soren - That dweller pulled me in, no matter how hard I fought it. He completely won me over and I was hoping he got a HEA too!
Cinder - He started out as a tag along, and in the Tides he finally found what he was always searching for. A family. He was braver than I ever could have been at his age, and I loved his moments throughout the story.
The twists and turns kept me on my toes, but the events that unfolded and affected the characters, that's what moved my heart so deeply. I sobbed. I pleaded. I hoped they would all survive. Even though I should have known better. This story was perfectly destructive and uplifting at the same time. And I won't be able to get their world or these characters out of my head for a long time to come.
PS Can we please have a novella looking into the future? My heart desperately needs that!

Why was it so hard to bring together the people she loved and keep them safe? Why couldn’t she just wake up and spend a day— one day—without running or fighting or losing someone?

Into The Still Blue is the final conclusion to the Under the Never Sky trilogy and delivered a lot of kick-assery, sweet romance, unforgettable friendships and higher stakes for all the characters. And as a last instalment does, Veronica Rossi adds to this mix with some heartbreak, second chances and sacrifices.
Our two main characters, Perry and Aria were both fantastic narrators and have both come so far. Perry’s bravery and leadership is strong and I enjoyed his determination to get to the Still Blue. As for Aria, she has the longest way. She used to be an innocent and weak girl who didn’t know how to handle a knife, but now she’s a badass chick ready to fight with all the strength she has in her. The romance is equally brilliant; there were barely any miscommunications, and when there were, Perry and Aria they talked it out. This is what a genuine relationship is like! Veronica Rossi creates such authentic and three dimensional characters, they really cling onto you and never let go even once the story has ended.
Along with Perry and Aria, there’s also the beloved Roar. We see a different side to him in Into The Still Blue, he is grieving and utterly lost after what happened to Liv, most of the time just sitting there, staring at nothing. While he could’ve turned into a whiny character, he didn’t. Veronica Rossi portrays his sadness and loss realistically; I even started to feel my own blanket of sadness covering me. What Veronica Rossi does best is creating the ultimate, platonic friendship between a girl and a boy. Aria and Roar’s friendship was complete romance free and I absolutely loved it their interactions. They help each other through tough situations and give advice to each other (including love advice); it’s absolutely amazing and still hilarious despite Roar’s slightly more sorrowful demeanour. I am still waiting for another author to make a friendship like Veronica Rossi’s.
After the epic second instalment Veronica Rossi delivered, I’ll be honest and say that I did expect her conclusion to the Under the Never Sky series to be grander and end with more of a ‘bang’. I felt that the ending of this book was rushed and many things that I had wildly anticipating for most of the book wasn’t made so significant when the time came. Yes, I wanted more of a dramatic feel; I wanted my heart to rush till the very end. I wanted a better climax.
Even though the ending was weaker than I had wanted it to be, Into The Still Blue was still a wonderful last instalment, saying a last goodbye to our favourite characters. I definitely will be on the lookout for more of this author’s works; they are just bound to be wonderful.

I am still waiting for another author to make a friendship like Veronica Rossi’s.
After the epic second instalment Veronica Rossi delivered, I’ll be honest and say that I did expect her conclusion to the Under the Never Sky series to be grander and end with more of a ‘bang’. I felt that the ending of this book was rushed and many things that I had wildly anticipating for most of the book wasn’t made so significant when the time came. Yes, I wanted more of a dramatic feel; I wanted my heart to rush till the very end. I wanted a better climax.
Even though the ending was weaker than I had wanted it to be, Into The Still Blue was still a wonderful last instalment, saying a last goodbye to our favourite characters. I definitely will be on the lookout for more of this author’s works; they are just bound to be wonderful.
