Evaluate the Lateral Displacement that Occurs in Each Storey of High Rise Buildings by using Staad Pro Software
Jha, A. S. |. R. S. P. |. A. K.
For braces angle section ISA 600mm X 400mm X 60mm is used. There are four trial locations in the building where braces are placed and analyzed for their effect on lateral stiffness. Braces are modeled as axial force members having pinned end connections. Bracings are of X type modeled throughout the height of the building. Based on results obtained by Staad Pro. Software the following conclusions are drawn Base shear is same for zone III, zone IV, and zone V. Lateral displacement is minimum for BEC4 for zone III, IV and V. This type of bracing BXY3 is suitable for zone III, IV and V. The minimum axial force found in BX1, BXY3 and BEC4 in zone III, for zone iv BX1, BXY3 and zone VBX1 is economical. The minimum bending moment occurs in zone III, IV and Zone V for BXY3 system. Torsion Increases owing to bracing. The shear force is found out by zone III, IV and Zone V increasing. The maximum bending moment reduces to BX1 frame in zone III, IV in ZONE V it reduces.BX1 Frame is more effective in resisting maximum bending moment and is more economical. However no particular bracing is suitable for zone III, IV, V individual bracing has to be designed for Seismic zone. Also economy in bracing can be found by suitable design. Steel bracings can be utilized as an option in contrast to the next reinforcing or retrofitting methods accessible as the all out weight on the current structure wont change essentially. Dynamic Analysis of Multistoreyed Frame Shear Wall Building Considering SSI
Khan, A. R. |. P. A.
The structural system of a high rise building often has a more pronounced effect than a low rise building on the total building cost and the architecture aspect of building. Shear walls are lateral load resisting structural systems which provide stability to structures from lateral loads like wind and seismic Loads. The design of multi storey building is to have good lateral load resisting System along with gravity load system for safety of occupant and for better performance of structure even in most adverse condition. The main scope of this project is to apply class room knowledge in the real world by designing a multi storied residential building. Shear walls are more efficient in resisting lateral loads in multi storied buildings. Steel and reinforced concrete shear walls are kept in major positions of multi storied buildings which are made in consideration of seismic forces and wind forces. To solve this purpose shear walls are a very powerful structural elements, if used judiciously can reduce deflections and stresses to a very great extent. Our project contains a brief description of building with shear wall and without shear wall thoroughly discussed structural analysis of a building to explain the application of shear wall. The design analysis of the multi storied building in our project is done through STAAD PRO, most popular structural engineering software. It is featured with some ultimate power tool, analysis and design facilities which make it more users friendly. Assessment of the Impact of Commercial Banks Mandatory Reserve Policy on Investment Activity
llayevich | Tursunov Shukrullo Bakhtiyor oglu |, A. X. S.
In a developed economy, commercial banks operate in a constantly growing competitive environment. They compete with each other and with other credit and financial institutions, including foreign banks that provide a variety of services that have recently been offered. One of the main directions of activity of commercial banks in the conditions of strong competition is investment activity. Banks need to have a reliable image in front of their customers in order to fully fulfill their obligations. This confidence stems from the liquidity of the banks. In order to ensure the sustainability of their activities in a market economy, commercial banks are required to pay constant attention to liquidity, solvency, and profitability.
The interbank money market is one of the segments of the financial market, which ensures the placement of bank investments in the real economy through the rapid and efficient redistribution of funds accumulated in the banking system. The functioning of the interbank money market affects their overall size and efficiency in terms of making certain investment decisions for the economy and ultimately plays an important role in achieving economic growth.
Structural Building and Cost Optimization with Different Floor System
Parekar, J. M. |. S.
The analysis is a technique for determining the ways of a structure under various load combination. Design is the procedure of achieving convenient description for a structure. It takes a long time to manually plan and analyse a structure. The goal of any structural design process is to produce a safe design that meets all the design codes requirements, while trying to minimize the cost of the design. Until recently, this process was based on the judgment of the designer. Optimization in structural design is a recent concept that has been introduced and used in the last couple of decades to find the optimum designs based is more accurate compared to human judgment. Then it is applied to the design of the whole structure, considering seismic load. The model resulted in savings of 6.7 9 for the slab optimization compared to the original design, and 8.5 for the high rise structure optimization, compared to the original design. For high rise structures, these savings mean hundreds of thousands of dollars. This is the start of a new structural design software era, where the whole structural design is performed using inclusive software that guarantees minimum time and cost for a structurally sound design. This paper discusses various optimization techniques and applies them to real world cases like reinforced concrete structures in virtual environment. The study includes survey of structural optimization principles, procedures, software tools available for structural design and analysis. Further, it discusses about the optimization of multi storey reinforced concrete structures RCC building structure using structural analysis software like STAAD PRO. A THOROUGH REVIEW OF WSN ROUTING PROTOCOLS
Sharma, K. R. |. K. B. |. S. B. |. R.
In simple terms, a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a dispersed network made up of nodes. Sensor nodes or motes are the more prevalent names for these nodes. In order to comprehend the issues with WSN, a complete analysis of the current protocols is accomplished. The sensor is a consistently dispersed, restriction-free device that uses energy from a finite supply. Numerous novel routing protocols have been developed expressly for wireless sensor networks, where energy awareness is a key design consideration. The routing protocols have received the majority of attention because they might vary according to the application and network design. The characteristics of WSNs are discussed in this study. The following section of this study investigates current routing methods for wireless sensor networks, classifies them, and contrasts and compares some of the leading routing protocols.
