@article{nunal2024joyful, abstract = {This study ascertains that joyful collaborative teaching has positive effects to the learning skills of the students. This study is supported by Social Cultural Theory of Lev Vygotsky. It assessed the performance level of Grade 10 Garnet students in Pasay City North High School Mactan Airbase Annex after implementing joyful teaching during the class discussions. The study used a teacher made rubric in evaluating the performance level of the students and a likert scale survey in determining the students’ feedback in regard to the joyful teaching. The significant relationship between the students’ performance and their feedback was measured using the Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient at 0.05 level of confidence. The study revealed that students did a great job in the performance test. The teacher gave each group a grade that belonged to exemplary exceptional category. Furthermore, more than 90 of the students gave positive feedback to the joyful teaching and collaborative learning activities. It implies that it is easier for the students to comprehend the lesson if the class discussions are fun and interesting. Social Studies is a boring subject if it not taught in a joyful way. Making use of different fun activities and collaborative learning greatly help students to participate and show excellent performance during the class discussions. May Pearl P. This study investigates the efficacy of 2D electrical resistivity tomography ERT in conjunction with vertical electrical sounding VES and existing borehole data to accurately map subsurface structures and enhance groundwater resource identification in Issele Uku, Ugwashi Uku, Okpanam, Umunede, and Asaba. Ten 2D ERT surveys were conducted across these five towns, utilizing Wenner and Dipole Dipole configurations with electrode spacing of 5 10m. Interpreted resistivity values were correlated with potential geological units and groundwater occurrence using established resistivity ranges. Borehole data provided further validation for aquifer depths and structural relationships. The results demonstrated the effectiveness of 2D ERT in delineating geological features like fractures, faults, and weathered zones influencing groundwater flow and storage, with a success rate of 90 . Resistivity variations effectively distinguished clay rich soils high resistivity , fractured weathered rocks moderate resistivity , and massive, less permeable formations low resistivity . Comparison with borehole data revealed close agreement between predicted and actual aquifer depths, with discrepancies rarely exceeding 8m. This highlights the potential of 2D ERT as a cost effective and non invasive tool for targeted borehole siting and improved groundwater resource management in the region. The study progressed as guided by a specific research question To what extent do the ISTP Multiplicators use interpersonal skills in supervision of instruction This research question was transformed into a research hypothesis. The case study research design was used with proportionate and random sampling techniques respectively to ensure that respondents from all the schools were represented equally. Questionnaire for teachers was the instrument used for data collection. Data were analysed using statistical packages for social sciences SPSS version 21.0 for windows. Results were reported using descriptive statistics. Chi square and student t tests were used to determine relationships between respondents demographic characteristics and their view on some attributes of the ISTP Multiplicators. The decision rule was to reject the null hypothesis where the computed mean was statistically significantly greater than the expected value and accept the alternative hypothesis. Following this rule all the alternative hypotheses were rejected and the null hypotheses accepted. Recommendations were made to the Education secretary of the CBC, the ISTP Coordinator, the Principals and teachers of the schools concerned, the ISTP Multiplicators in order to improve performance levels of the ISTP Multiplicators. Suggestions for further research were given. Vanity Mugob Nshukwi "A Performance Appraisal of the Pedagogic in-Service Training Programme (ISTP) Multiplicators in C.B.C. Economic development is often equated with structural transformation of the economy where the relative share of agriculture sector both in national income and labour force declines while that of industrial and services sectors increases. As economy transform from primary to secondary and tertiary sectors, workers also move from one sector to another. Diversification not only changes occupational structure of men workers but employment status of women workers also. As educational attainment increases among women, this lead to transformation of female employment in an economy from primary to other sectors. North East region of India has been considered as backward region in terms of growth in percapita income. North Eastern economy is basically a rural and agrarian economy. But now a day's more and more people leave agricultural sector and join the non farm sector in the rural economy as a source of livelihood and employment. In this paper an attempt has been made to analyse the role of structural diversification on the status of women employment in North East and examine the factors that effects these diversification. This paper examined the growth of Non Farm sector in North East vis-a-vis India. This paper is based on secondary sources of data collected from various literatures, journals, books, bulletins etc and basically emphasising on Non Farm sector.
