This is my first design approach for this type of buildings. My main concept was about creating a unique feeling inside the main prayer hall. 

 

To achieve that i used a special dome structure at the hall center that allows a small amount of direct light to come in. Also, I used dark glassing panels with low opacity mounted on a steel frame structure formed from Islamic pattern.
